Existing storage solutions were inefficient, forcing the homeowners to rely on freestanding shelving and countertop storage that made the space feel cluttered and cramped.

Through thoughtful planning and custom millwork, Klein Kitchen and Bath completely reimagined the layout to maximize every available inch while maintaining an open, welcoming feel.

Elevated Contrast and Craftsmanship

The design centers around custom shaker cabinetry finished in a beautiful sage green tone, paired with crisp white upper cabinetry to create a bright and balanced aesthetic. Matte black hardware introduces subtle contrast while complementing the kitchen’s contemporary character.

Natural wood butcher block countertops add warmth and texture, creating a welcoming environment that feels both sophisticated and comfortable.

Seamless Integration of Premium Materials

Bright quartz countertops with soft veining and a matching full-height backsplash help reflect natural light throughout the room, making the kitchen feel larger and more open. Stainless steel appliances are seamlessly integrated into the design, including a custom-paneled dishwasher that maintains the clean visual flow of the cabinetry.

The refrigerator wall was completely redesigned with custom panels and ceiling-height cabinetry, creating a more architectural appearance while significantly increasing storage capacity. Extending the cabinetry to the ceiling not only maximizes usable storage but also draws the eye upward, enhancing the sense of height throughout the space.

Smart Storage and Hidden Details

Storage was a major priority throughout this renovation. A previously underutilized narrow cabinet beside the refrigerator was transformed into a pull-out pantry with integrated spice storage, allowing homeowners to easily access items that would otherwise be lost in hard-to-reach spaces.

The original freestanding metal cart was replaced with a custom mobile storage island that provides additional workspace and concealed storage while remaining movable when needed for appliance maintenance and access.

Additional custom storage solutions were incorporated throughout the kitchen to improve organization and reduce countertop clutter, creating a cleaner and more functional environment for everyday use.

Thoughtful Design in Every Corner

Particular attention was given to previously awkward areas of the kitchen. A challenging corner near the cooking area was reimagined with custom walnut floating shelves that coordinate beautifully with the butcher block surfaces elsewhere in the room.

Integrated LED lighting beneath the shelving brightens the workspace while creating a warm ambient glow. The result is a practical storage solution that also serves as a design feature, adding depth, character, and visual interest to the space.
